We've some time to relax, but in Mopa want to be creatives. "Mala Suerte o Falta de Talento" is a new piece about love, war and music. This is a work by Raquel Luque and Juan Luís Matilla, but it's also a work in progess.
Anyway, Mopa won yesterday the first price in Certamen Coreográfico de Madrid 2009.

Mopa is so busy in november. We have three productions in Seville. It's so amazing. Two years and a lot of work done.
Tuve que hacer el amor por cortesía has been represented in Mes de Danza 2009. La Tasca restaurant and its WC was the space to performed this crazy piece. 17 setences from La Naúsea (J.P. Sartre), five people, one minute and a half by round, one dancer, one speaker, one musician and two turntables are all....mm...yes and public WC.

But, Mopa is also preparing Tus hijos me están jodiendo la vida premier in Seville. It´s a cut and paste of things that nobody wants, sounds of landscapes which remind of fluxus and the New York New Wave, in early 80’s. It’s not intelectual humour, but assuming the consequences. It is a destructive and reconstructive way of creation, just to see what happens.

I had to make love to be polite is a performer show with creation to Juan Luís Matilla y Fran Torres. The show is in a public bathroom. This is seventeen pieces one to two minutes longer. The piece need a instrucctions of use. The titles are from "La Naúsea" de J.P. Sartre: sentences changed it places in translation book. “(Wait for me awake)” is a Mopa production (Juan Luís Matilla) where Eloísa Cantón and Juan Kruz Díaz de Garaio Esnaola collaborate. It arose from Juan Luís and Eloísa’s first outline which received the name “I suppose I want to know what comes next”.
After being superbly directed and coreographed by Juan Kruz Díaz "I suppose..” became “(wait for me awake)”.
“(wait for me awake)”, in its director’s words, is about: Two characters in light sleep, unconscious about the presence of those acting as witnesses of their intimate dialogue. A dialogue unceasingly seeking for communication through the language they have created and made theirs. As witnesses, our dare is accepting being their companions at their daily life, watching their relationship that we grasp from the outside as mere observers, making no judgements.
