Mopa Producciones

Mopa was born as “More productive” (2002) within a workshop for Mirjam Berns. The first Works were introduced to the public in the III and IV Andalusian Coreographic Contest: “Solitude” (2003), was second award winner, and  “Delicatekken” (2004), was the winner for the only award in that edition. The first production was “Danza Terrestre” (2006), piece that was co-financed by Andalusian Government. The pieces "Anvers Pervers" and "Instalar Piloto Silencio" appeared in 2007 in the context of AreaTangent Seville; and are introduced respectively in Temporada Alta in Girona and Huellas in Córdoba. In 2008 "Tuve que hacer el amor por cortesía" was presented at Fest, in collaboration with Francisco Torres and Anna París and “Your kids are fucking up my life” was presented at Mes de Danza (Seville) featuring Francisco Torres y Roberto Martínez Losa. In February 2009 was released (espérame despierto) at the Sarajevo Winter Festival.  Juan Luis Matilla and Heloise Canton perform this piece under the direction of Juan Kruz Diaz de Garaio Esnaola (Sasha Waltz). Coming soon: “Mala Suerte o Falta de Talento” (“Unlucky or lack of talent”, featuring Raquel Luque and Juan Luis Matilla) First Prize Madrid Choreographic 2009.
